I'll record a video instructing individuals on how to install and use Standalone for the time being. I will work on it for about a week. I do not know how to edit my videos by the way, just how to record and pause and resume c:

I will NOT be instructing how to install with Mac or Linux.

I noticed that you use bandicam to screencap, which is nice if you have the full version. If not, you get that silly 'watermark'.
I'd advise you(as well as everyone) to either use another free sc software(OBS works great for me) or pay for the full version if you feel too uncomfortable using anything else.

Even though we(the community)are all helping to create this wonderful 'official' channel to guide newplayers and showcase important content, I feel there are a few standards we should reach. One of those standards being professionalism, and having watermarks just isn't pleasant ya know.

If anything we can do our best to just hide that mark with some cropping/or covering if you can't find anything else to use i guess.

Yeah I used to use bandicam myself and was just talking to AJ about what to use earlier tonight and he mentioned OBS so that's probably the best way to go for most people.

I was just about to post in here about a good screen recorder as mine is not the best of quality (FPS is pretty low like 30) and is also quite silent however they do not have options to adjust either in the settings so I'll check out OBS and see how that goes.

I also have a computer dedicated to FFR so I might have to use my other one for videos (and this means I cannot do gameplay videos).

EDIT: Probably need to have someone figure out why OBS is unwilling to bind to Standalone window and why it isn't allowing the "Source" to be added

Use window capture not game capture

I did that and even monitor capture but every time I set it for Adobe Flash Player 9 (Standalone) the Source disappears and it always says "Source not Found" or a reiteration.

I might have better luck on my other computer (this one is outdated) and some of the recording settings already is a sign this computer might be outdated for any form of recording outside of an actual camera recording.

I still have the other software that I've tested and it works with a few minor details that can probably be fixed so I am still able to at least do that.

If you're having trouble, the final alternative is doing monitor capture, and setting the screen region to be your flash player window

Well, really that was AJ's answer cause I haven't used OBS yet haha. I had to ask him what could be wrong. I'm going to be trying it out probably later this evening to get some clips for the trailer vid.

well crap, gonna have to figure this out. Unless someone out there is super good with editing and can get rid of watermarks. I only know basic editing for vids.
