This thread is to collect feedback on the new usergroup icons introduced to the forums August 1st.

In this test run, we are hoping to gather your thoughts on what makes this an improved or unwelcome change, and how we can help better (or ultimately remove) this new style choice.

What are your opinions?

My issue is with the placement.

Maybe instead of where it says "FFR Veteran" under your Avi these icons could appear there instead? I think that'd make a bit more sense to me aesthetically.

I think they're cool, but I thinking moving them to that spot would actually give them a more proper purpose along with removing that "FFR Veteran" part altogether. I think the icons do it better.

Are you using the v4 theme? Cuz that's why you've been seeing them.

Xel, the vet status line isn't supposed to be there. I was not at home to change the code over so it wasn't done. It will vanish tomorrow.
As for your positioning suggestion I will take a look at trying that out, that sounds like a decent idea.

It might take a short while to remember which ones stand for which, but I like them; this is a good solution for giving everyone the recognition they deserve but without all the clutter.
