The fiery beast is dormant.
Once a psychotic barrage of nimble accuracy and glowing perfection,
a true force to be reckoned with in those times..
It was years ago, during the age of rebuilding. The community was in shambles.
People since that terrible event have been clinging to groups as a sad, makeshift life-support..
So many deserters... but after all that happened, you couldn't blame them.
"The Purge" as we call it within my group. For a year the community was forced away from each other, only for the amusement of the demented rulers at the time. Some were allowed to live, segregated from the masses..
most...were not.
Wives separated from husbands, children stripped away from parents, brothers torn from sisters. It was all so sick.. so twisted.
I can still hear the screams of those chosen to be taken away, their voices forever haunting my thoughts and dreams.
Those allowed to live couldn't bear the atrocities taking place, but who would stand up? Nobody could stop the tyrants and it was better off left alone.
I beat myself up for it.. Coward, why didn't you stand up? Why didn't you fight? Surely there are those who would stand by you!
No, in those days, just to be heard meant you had to have some sort of achievement, be recognized.
I was nothing compared to so many others, but once The Purge happened and I physically witnessed the gore, I set out on a mission to stand up for what I believed in.
There were small forums taking place in the shadows, sparse as they were, they wanted to stand up as well. Nobody wanted the tirade of the corrupt rulers to continue.
We created groups. In total I'm unsure of how many there really were, I do recall a portion of the most distinguished of us.
Chaos...Dragons Fury...Frost...Blaze...Raccoon Girl...Dark Chancellors...Light Chancellors...FFЯ...ODI
FFЯ and ODI weren't, to be blunt, organized groups formed against the Tyrant Rulers. Instead, ODI allowed anyone willing to come and go as they please (many left). Their purpose was generally entertainment.
FFЯ was supposedly an elite group of politicians and philosophers set on bringing down the tyrannical rulers, though nobody has seen nor heard from them since their inception..
My group of choice was Blaze (admittedly because of the name, at first).
We were among the newest established "teams", giving us a slight uphill battle in the quest for acceptance among the older, more experienced groups.
We made a quick rise, however. Mostly because of our natural talent.
Such a fine set of warriors.
Blaze almost instantly acquired praise as one of the most lethal teams of assassins and killers in the rebellion. Tyrant spies and officials wept in their dreams at the mere thought of our vicious obscurity.
Flames of War, Satan's Breath, Tyrant Drought.
The nicknames people came up with.. my favorite was always "Soulless Incendiaries".
It has since been witheringly flickering with the desperation of a homeless man begging for food.
After the revolt, which succeeded in the beheading of the Tyrant Rulers, the teams almost completely vanished. One after the other, they faded away into memory, their feats and heroics forgotten to the sands of time.
Some stayed though, as a reminder that we are here, we have established dominance, this is our commune.
Frost was among those that decided to stay. They're our rivals now, and we hold friendly competitions of skill and power every so often to keep our wits about us.
Teams will spring up here and there, but it's entirely fanfare. We're in a time of peace.. all anyone can do now is celebrate our victories.
Even Blaze, one day, will go. The torch which guided so many will someday be doused into history.
Blaze...

I *technically* don't have mod powers anymore but I added you to the spreadsheet, PhantomPuppy.
You're also free to add stuff like your name, favorite color, fav AAA (and/or fav score in general), play style, and skype username. Of course, you don't have to if you don't want.
