I think being intimidated by one single person on the internet is a little strange because, at least for me, it takes a group effort to rain enough hell on one person to make them intimidated. If one poster is trolling you but everyone else either ignores it or sticks up for you, it's pretty hard to be intimidated. It's when there are multiple people feeding off of each others' flames and stuff that can make it dangerous.

This is pretty much why a lot of people would have been intimidated by ODI in general. The admins and most of the regular posters were so used to trolling people in concert with one another that it was a bandwagon mentality in a really immature way. I'm sure if you chatted with any of these people alone, they wouldn't be intimidating at all. Vent Krew was mentioned and the atmosphere in there was much different (still immature but less hostile) than the forums.

Of course there are some who are the most intimidating in the group; I'd give that to tsutter, Hayden, or Kil. Probably tsutter though because he was so thorough and would go to any lengths just to be a dick. I'm sure he spent hundreds of hours writing out essay-length insults to people, it was really juvenile but I guess I was guilty of being a minor bandwagoner to that myself.

Intimidating person on ffr? I would say nobody since trolling pretty much gets nipped in the bud quick here.

as a guy who's met and talked to Kilga in person (at Otakon last year), and from knowing him at a Touhou forum, I'll say he's a really really cool and fun guy to hang with and is one of the friendliest people I know.

I can believe this. actually, I might have been able to guess it. I was just intimidated by his internet self way back in the day. the impression I got was something like, "IF YOU DO NOT TALK TO ME ALREADY, DO NOT TALK TO ME."

also, he was very intense in The Werewolf Game subforum. I should have said the entire council from back then for most intimidating. they had short fuses.

Years ago, it was most certainly the old moderators in their own little circle that intimidated me: Guidohunter, Omeganitros, stretchypanda, Specforces, and so on. If you weren't "with it" then they'd set you straight.

I've had several people insult me since 2007 but I never felt intimidated by anyone. Words don't hurt me. Choof I've seen your "stepmania" posts like 3 times in a row from different threads and I'm trying hard to hold back from laughing at an airport
