    -1000,100:1000,100

i'll get an AAAA on this sometime

    these new features are fantastic

Theorem: If you have a large enough number of monkeys, and a large enough number of computer keyboards, one of them will sight-read AAA death piano on stealth. And the ffr community will forever worship it. Proof Example

    ask me anything here

    mashed FCs: 329

    r1: 5
    r2: 4
    r3: 6
    r4: 8
    r5: 3
    r6: 5
    r7: 15
    final position: 4th

Also it seems that rate settings are also saved for Flash 9. Meaning if you've played with rates on Flash 10/11 and want to go back to 9 for normal play, you have to change your rate back to 1.0 on either Flash 10 or 11. Would it be possible to have a workaround for this? (It's a very minor issue only players who use multiple versions of Flash might run into, so it's fine if there isn't a workaround, haha)
Aha, hadn't considered that. Will fix.

Also, perhaps it was just the songs I tested, but I feel a decent improvement in scoring now when playing on rates with a higher FPS (60). Was able to AAA Excite Bike 3x twice in a row without any hassle, and pull 2g on Power 25x twice in a row, which is pretty awesome. Obviously playing on less ridiculous rates gives even better results for me in the songs I tried.

Fantastic update man, I love it!
Hm, one thing I should mention about the judge windows is that it sets the score for everything higher than the time given, so "-1000,100:1000,100" is the same as "-1000,100" which just means amazings for everything 1 second before the note and later.
So -16.66,100:16.66,100 should actually be -16.66,100:16.66,0

Improvement is good, I was hoping this scheme would feel a lot more consistent. The old one tended to feel like it dropped the windows randomly at points, this one should be a lot better about that. However, at the same time it shouldn't really be considered easier or more lax, just more consistent (or so I hope, that's what I need the most feedback on).

Does this feel any better to you on framerates? You're probably still getting that random input delay though :/

Can you make it where the image uploader goes away when you hit the restart key?

Thanks for the info on the judge window, I'll keep that in mind the next time I play with it.

Yes, it feels more consistent, like the inaccuracies I obtain on the songs are mine, and not typically the result of the game handling rate judging strangely. The judging didn't feel lax compared to the normal judge window when I played, it felt like it should. I'll try it again more today, but from my last session messing with this I felt it was pretty solid in terms of window accuracy.

The framerates are as smooth as can be. The frames on my screen are not dropped at all, but its the delay I feel like is still messing this up. Problem not fixed Still testing...

Perhaps I should send you a video so you can see what I see on my end?

Hey guys I'm not sure on Flash Player 10 or 11, but on 9 there's no accuracy suggestion. Just a heads up on a glitch that can be fixed. I've tried this on multiple songs, and gotten the same "suggestion"

Suggestion: Any way something can be implemented where you can move the judgment (Perfect) up or down? The file could be easier to read for some people if it got lowered down a little.

I wanted something like this in the "editor" for the time being try using negative Judge offset.

Moar update, just because. This time backgrounds have been added to fps mode! Which sucks but also means scores obtained can now be recorded and saved to the server. A few minor things were also fixed like the mouse cursor disappearing in editor mode, rates saving across to Flash 9 mode, and accuracy calculations in 30fps mode. Note that currently decimal offsets do not work in fps mode, but they may be re-enabled in a future update. Also keep in mind that some songs still start abruptly in fps mode (as mentioned: Autumn Insomnia Session, The Big Crunch, likely a few others) so, uh, don't get too mad when you encounter one (but feel free to add missing songs to this page, I'd like a list of them just in case I need to fix them manually).

Yeah, the idea is to make most of the interface elements dragable in Editor mode.

Hm, this is a bit tricky because it's an overlay that has nothing to do with the game's state. I guess it could get a bit annoying though...

I'm noticing a weird bug on my end. There seems to be a delay when starting songs. For example, in MASCARADA, the song suddenly accelerate at the start. After the first note it returns to normal. I'll continue testing, and update this if I find it happening with anything else. If you want, I can post a video to show the lol'z....

...I'm just full of problems huh? lol

There should be a seperate thread to organize what songs are bugged with the new timing if using FPS, dohoho.
