Seriously, let's do it. It is sort of meant to be the skill token to end all skill tokens, so let's change it up! Obviously once you unlock it whatever if new tokens come out, but at least this way it will always keep with the times in the sense that you are in fact, whoring tokens.

Why not wait till 199 skill tokens and make a Token whore v2 for unlocking 100 -199?

That will take forever though, and it would mean the process would have to repeat itself if any more tokens were made.

I'd be alright with this to a degree. A second token whore would be cool, but not a specific requirement. The more general these requirements are the better if you ask me.

I want to see token whore changed simply due to the reasoning that you're a token whore regardless of which 100 you use. You can't get it without succumbing to the AntiPA tokens either way so those of you who are nit picky to that, for a while at least it would always force this. Also, nostalgia is not a reason to leave anything alone so anyone who uses this as a reason, I'd hope you'd be ignored.

Edit: I'll add a little more here. We've recently expanded the requirements on Heavy, Oni and Scarhand to include an arsenal of charts, and why did we do it? Because simply put it was too strict and picky. So why wouldn't the same idea translate here?

Token whore to me at least, is saying "hey you're literally just whoring out tokens." It's specific unlocks are horrible requirements in my opinion.

My opinion on AntiPA in general is being cast aside by the way. If I really could change it to how I wanted to, it would be based to include the forum tokens and the others and it would simply be "Obtain 100 Tokens."

What's so wrong with antiPA tokens? In some way it encourages you to have good pa because you need to hit keys in a specific frame-range.

Also, Will you marry me? token will eventually be dealt with..
Normal Tokens needs someone to re-check for dead links and get re-visited in general.

Suggestion:
- Normal Tokens should have an alternative unlock that needs to be decided in the future..

No; actually it's because we weren't able to expand those requirements to cover a general difficulty range until recently (I suppose some coding technicalities may be the reason). So instead, a number of songs were individually chosen to give the token. Since this required a lot of maintenance to update, I guess only those songs were delegated to give out the tokens.

I still wouldn't say coding technicalities was the reason for the expansion. The ability to update the code is what allowed us to finally do it if that makes sense, but that's just kind of how I look at it.

coding technicalities = coding update?

I'd say I'm against changing the requirements for Token Whore. The tokens that were nerfed consisted as a nice challenge for players and were seen as rites of passage and signs of improvement. And I still believe some of those should have stayed untouched (Like St. Scarhand). Token whore was made at the time as a challenge that required to unlock ALL of the tokens already released. It wouldn't make much sense to step it down now. Maybe would it be more pertinent to demand another interval than Token #1-99?

If Token Whore was actually a chart I would look forward to playing and worth trying to get tokens #1-99 then I would probably agree with leaving the requirement the way it is but seeing as the chart isn't anything special imo I'd be fine with the requirements changing.

Meh kind of agree with Elite Ninja, if it were some amazing phenomenal chart then 1-99 would be fitting, but any 100 to me seems more fitting for such a.. joke simfile haha,

maybe we could release a new token for 1-99 with a more noteworthy chart?

Not to be rude or anything but, D1 players Don't usually have very good with PA to begin with. Once you get to a certain degree of skill Anti-PA becomes extremely Tedious to be able to do.

For example, When I first got starman which is less then 10 perfects and 180+ goods On super mario 8bit 80's remix,
I replayed that song at least 200-300 times and that was very hard at the time, and I was barely a D3 player.

200+ Averages? Easy? remember that averages occur only on 1 frame.
