It used to be sdl; but then my s key started to not work every so often. Now I use 120- or qwop on 1.65x

I use a 1.925x on FFR, C600 or 6700 in SM.

Key setup is always A, S, (Numpad)5, (Numpad) 6. I love this spread, very comfortable with the hands on opposite ends of the keyboard.

For SM I use c725 ASKL (that way I can use qwe iop for solo if I ever feel like playing that).

1.75x on FFR, c800 Distant on Stepmania. I use DFJK as my setup for both games.

In rare cases like Revolutionary Etude, I change my setup to m,./

2.125 or 2.15 on FFR, C775-C800 on Stepmania (overhead), C825-C850 on Stepmania (Distant, just started using yesterday).

Key set-up is "VB ./" 4 lyfe!!

I mash the whole keyboard and hope for the best.

Seriously, I believe 1.6x to 1.7x is the most comfortable speed. (FFR-wise)
Playing spread with at least a good 15/20 cm between fingers.

And since I've got another copy of the same keyboard, sometimes I like to strap them around my forearms with duct tape, with the other half of it exceeding so I can reach the keys with two of my fingers. That way I can smash some arrows while doing acrobatics in my room.

2.6x speedmod, sometimes 2.7x for dick-ish charts. Key setup is AZ for left hand and .; for right (back about last year I used FV and NJ).
Primary method of play is mashing.
