Song and Step suggestions?

I dont know if this is the correct area to put this. But if it needs to be moved, i'm sorry for not posting in the correct location. First off, are there any songs with steps like Stoic? (DDR) it's a kinda harder difficulty with constant stream and trick to it. Maybe even a heavier stream like Paranoia with all the double taps. Maybe something like Healing Vision [Angelic Mix]? i dont know all the songs, and so i put out suggestions. maybe you can suggest me some that are already there! anyone ever thought about doing one of the new KoRn songs or Skrillex and put steps to them?

As far as the DDR-related stuff, not sure I can help you out. There are some files that are constant stream like {Rose} or {Blaze} in-game, maybe that's what you're looking for (if you press the "Song" button in the upper left, they'll be at the very beginning or end of the list due to the {}'s).

And as far as KoRn and Skrillex, we only have songs in-game that we have permission from the musicians/authors to use. In these two cases, we actually don't have permission. Sorryyyy~

oh okay, yeah, i was just wanting to know if there was ingame songs like the ones mentioned above. Nor did i know about all the permission stuff. (Stepmania was... eh... sketchy about that i guess) i do thank you for your help!

My Tournament Engine actually has some DDR songs, but the only time you'll see them are on offline engines. We don't have permission from Konami for use of the songs on DDR for official FFR.

that sucks too because 3rd mix (yes, i still have the Jap 3rd for PSX) had some of the best songs. E-Rotic and Captain Jack! Not to mention some of the latter editions. boo, oh well. FFR still has some sick songs too. great job to all the authors/song pickers/ and step writers.

Here's one for you step writers. My parents have a band, and if you wanted, I might could give you a few demo's of their original stuff (i dont know if you'd want to do their covers) and see if'n you wanted to do something with them, lemme know!

I don't think he's asking for DDR songs in particular (he's just familiar with DDR songs as examples). He's looking for songs on FFR with, from what I understand, basic jumpstream. @seers: It might seem like "trickier stuff", but that's pretty basic from a keyboard playing perspective. You can find those sorts of patterns in a good majority of songs, easy to hard.

For a fast example, try Breaking the Common (although it doesn't have too many jumps).

Fyi, if you're interested in DDR songs, there are a number of remixes and related songs. There are even a few originals, such as EternuS or Grandolin.

If I recall correctly, the version of the song in game is actually a remix of the Mix Del Matador mix from DDR:SN? bmah would be more qualified to answer this question.

Yeah, that's right. Just a remix of a remix with the same name. And I think it's from Supernova, I can't remember exactly.
