I play completed planted down to the elbow and at an angle, my wrists are beginning to kill me. Is the advice play raised? How do you guys play raised?

I have mines planted. o.o But then again, this is playing on a laptop. On a desktop my wrists hover.

I used to play with my wrists on the desk out of habit but lately I've been raising them and yeah.. getting better as I start to get used to it.

I play planted, i only raise my wrists during trills (Scrap Syndrome, etc.), runningmen (Grand Galop Chromatique, etc.), and jacks (Grist, J'ai Envie de Plaisir X2, etc.).

wrists are planted usually except when doing two handed trills or jacks
