For Tournament Point Scoring:
Each of the 11 first place finishers will win: 50,000 credits
Each of the 10 second place finishers will win: 25,000 credits
Each of the 10 third place finishers will win: 11,000 credits
Each of the 10 fourth place finishers will win: 5,000 credits
Each of the 9 fifth place finishers will win: 3,000 credits
Each of the 6 sixth place finishers will win: 2,000 credits

For a total of 999,000 credits for Tournament Point Scoring.
These credits are in the mail now

Once they are sent I will attempt to do Individual Round Scoring credit payout. Gonna be lots fiddly bookkeeping and so lots of places to possibly mess up but I will do my best.

I think making a spreadsheet for individual round scoring is my best bet to not screw up, so brb working a little Excel magic.

EDIT- Okay I did the first two divisions but now I'm getting dizzy now from all the colors ._.

I like the system I came up with, I can adjust the payout value for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place scores until it all nicely adds up to 1 million.
This should only take like 45 minutes to finish once my headache goes away, sorry for the further brief delay.

Okay done.

A first place score in your division gets you 10,000 credits for that round.
A second place score in your division gets you 3,500 credits for that round.
A third place score in your division gets you 500 credits for that round.

Well I know the one from 20:00 is Two Steps From Hell - Toys Come Alive. It's from the album "The Devil Wears Nada". Not sure about 22:20, can't find it on the album yet, will edit when I figure it out.

So after doing all three scoring types I had two credits left over.
These went to qqwref for being an awesome co-host

I also sent sticklydude 35k from my own pocket for being really cool with being moved a division in the middle of the tournament.

Really I'm stuck, because I want the files to have decent graphics but I suck at making graphics. I've been learning but it's a slow process.
I'll be finishing that task up as soon as I can.

I found it to be pretty useful. Also I prefer cumulative scoring. Better room for comeback, but it might cause a lot of unfairness to people who did really well for the first 6 rounds and then got annihilated at the last round for tournaments (Brutality-themed) like this.

All in all very nice tournament, I really love tournaments like these, non-AAA fest tourneys.

Yes the PMs were helpful since I almost forgot about the tournament until I got an email saying you messaged me.

And I actually really like how you did all three types of scoring since it ended up with basically everybody getting credits which is cool.
It would've been impossible to do this if you hadn't of had the over 3,000,000 credit pot though so it's a good thing people were so generous.

Only thing bad about this way is having so much to do all at the end, unless you get the individual round scores out of the way each time a round ends.

I actually have enough finished files to hold another custom tournament right now lol
But I will probably wait about 4 months for two reasons: the first is that Jae put me on the "bad boy list" for taking too long to do the credits so I can't hold another tournament for a few months until my time-out is over. Also the more practical reason is I'm busy as hell and these things take a lot of work haha. If someone else wants to run the tournament for me with my files feel free to PM me lmao, otherwise maybe this autumn


Thanks jake and Eze for the comments, anyone else feel free to chip in too! Part of the reason I did all three scoring types was an experiment so I'd really like to know what people think about that.

I think tournament points is a good system to use, it makes it so the earlier rounds have an equal weight compared to the later rounds, since the difference in scores for the early rounds are usually so minute. Anyways, thanks for the credz, 10/10, would join again. :3

As for the reminder pm's, I usually kept up with the thread myself, but I still think they are useful anyways, especially for the people that don't keep up with tourney threads.
