I can see where the host are coming from, but it just isn't fair. Now if a player request to be put in a higher division (I don't know why they would) I say go ahead and do it. Hopefully the experience in a higher division will drive him to achieve better scores for the future; however, taking a person with intermediate skill level and placing him in a lower division because he requested is just a bit absurd in my opinion. You have to take in consideration for the people who actually want to win in their correct division. Just saying...

On a more serious note though -- if a player requests a division, you should only acknowledge their decision if they're requesting to be in a division HIGHER than what you placed them, not lower. If a player wants to take the tougher route, then that's perfectly alright. However, a player shouldn't be given the opportunity to breeze through.

Haven't gotten any good runs on CP yet, but I've AAA'd the isolation file a few times now.

Ok....just because I DO in fact know what ULTI's capable of I'll switch to D5..for the sake of saving this from turning into a HUGE debate. ULTI requested to be in D4 for whatever reason I apologize for granting that request. Too nice I can be sometimes....No more boo hoos now?

I switched it up on the spreadsheet, Zek's gonna have to update it in OP when he comes on again.

I don't think anybody is crying about his misplacement. I just wanted to note out the flaw with placements in the divisions. The last tournament I participated in was in Austin's tournament and it happened to result with me winning division 2 due to inactivity of the other players. Just like the hosts, I want this tournament to be an enjoyable one - not just for me, but others as well.
