After you have it downloaded you need to do a few things to log in. First, go to your IE browser, then click the Tools tab. From there go Internet options -> Privacy Tab -> lower the bar to accept all cookies, hit apply.

Then go to FFR on IE and log in. Make sure you check the remember me box before logging in.

Now open the flash player you just downloaded and go to File -> Open. Copy and paste this link into the text field and hit Ok.

Added crap you can either do, or not.

To play in fullscreen, once the game is loaded maximize the window. After you maximize the window go to View -> 100%. Then after that go back to View, and this time select Zoom In. Voila, fullscreen FFR in a standalone flash player.

If your still getting lag while playing in the standalone (like i do -.-) hit ctrl-alt-del and open your processes. Find the flash player, and right click it, then change its priority to High or Realtime. Solved most of my lag issues.

I know it seems like a lot to do, but it really isn't, and it's totally worth it.

Using the standalone really helped me ... I cant play in a browser, some lag spikes are so bad it's an automatic fail on songs with a lot of notes

Did you do everything I said in Internet Explorer? You must disable your privacy settings in IE. The flash player will only read info from the IE browser, and it won't be able to access that info your security settings are too high. So, after you have set it to accept all cookies in your privacy tab, and then log in to FFR on Internet Explorer (REMEMBER TO CHECK THE REMEMBER ME BOX) it should log you in on the standalone, yes.

And good luck to you as well Portalo! I see we're both whoring FMO/FGO's as practice right now xD. And we've gotten similar scores, cool. random.org matched us up well then =]
