Well, this is a public announcement:

I am going to be helping Shayne with the running and placements of people in this tournament. For the rest of tonight and all of tomorrow for confirmation, Shayne and I will be comprising a final list of all placements. If, after the tournament has started, there are signs of a person playing at a higher ability than the division they are placed in, the person in question will be moved up, no exceptions.

Everything for the start of the tournament will be ready no later than 12:00 A.M. on October, 28th. Songs for the first round will be posted shortly after the post for the final placements.

Any complaints will result in a warning that it is just a game and not to complain. Any other problems will result in removal from the tournament.

For any questions or concerns about placements before we have our final say, please contact either MetalAtlas (Shayne) or myself.

How about those that are not helping with hosting the tournament stay out of it and those that are in it do what they feel is right. How the hell are people going to learn tsk tsk tsk.

AJ, instead of telling them what to do, why not give suggestions? Telling someone that they should do something cause "it'll help" really just is like "oh I know the things your not doing and you should do them." Sorry bud just saying. No offense.

Yeah I know it was making a suggestion, but look at it from shaynes view and even sara who is helping. Coming from someone who already had problems with one another and then coming in and saying something like that maybe just fueled the fire. Honestly, this isn't my tournament or anything to do with me. I just figure people do their own thing.

i didnt think we could buy subs yet. Thats why i wasnt looking cause i wasnt aware that anyone had one. But i figure we got where we are now, so might as well run with it. Putting up the final list soon and well be starting in about 24 hours

What I'm reading from the first part of your post and the second part of it:

hey AJ - offer suggestions to the tournament, but regardless of what you say, stay out of it because you're not a host of the tournament.

I told them who was misplaced and let them know that it was a big misplacement. Not telling them what to do, letting them know about what was going on. If you're getting upset at me for bringing up someone being misplaced, then that's something that you need to fix.

I told them that they should get someone with levelstats to help them place people. Not telling them that they NEED to. I never said that I knew all of the flaws within this tournament, and I have no reason to. The reason why I said it: even though Sara has run tournaments before, she doesn't have a subscription to view levelstats. Whether or not she was going to hop on yours, I wouldn't know and wouldn't have assumed. Don't accuse me of doing something that I didn't do.

I've read the rules and have been clear on them because it's common sense, and it shouldn't be hard to follow simple rules.

@Shayne:You can't buy them right now but there are a bunch of people with them because they gave them back to the people that had them while the site was down.

@Frankie: just because people have issues with one another doesn't mean someone shouldn't be able to make a suggestion without problems arising. People make suggestions in tourneys all the time. I don't get pissed when people do that just when they sit there and constantly complain about the same thing over and over and over again in a rude manner.

Anyways, thank you AJ, Hells, frankie, sara, kayla and anyone else for the suggestions. I have done what i needed to with them. The placements are done, provided people dont want to move up, the tourney will start tomarrow at midnight, Id apprciate itf every one would pipe down and will get this thing off smoothly thank you for your help though. I do appreciate it

This is supposed to be a tournament, not a thread full of drama. Please have respect for the host and stop this nonsense. I will not close a tournament for something like this, but I will take action against the users who contribute.

I only want to add one constructive thing. You can use the level rank compare feature to see other people's stats without having a subscription. (Just in case you hadn't tried that already.)
