Dude, what. In the original post there is no exact time frame specifications for the submittance of scores within the seconds of 12 midnight. There is no subtle bit hint at seconds of which the score may be posted, and there is no rule anywhere stating that within the time frame of 12:00:01 to 12:00:59 a score is indeed late. And yours is a half an hour late.
"
Round 6 begins now, ends on wednesday at 12 midnight! "
It says specifically "at 12 midnight." If it ends at 12, then 12:00:01 is late.
And I'll be fine with a tie. If this results in a tie, then that's okay. But technically, my score came on time. His didn't. My new score is a retaliated late score to his late score, meaning that if his late score is accepted, mine better be, too.
That's what I was thinking as well, but he may see it differently. Hence the "This is not an official ruling" sentence.
Also, what's the big deal? Magic, on every round, has accepted scores up to and during his final edit for the round. He's never denied anybody because he is lazy or NOT ON TIME (HINT HINT).
