i dont mine always beeps and usually doesnt record the note. although i can hit four if i switch the keys to the num pad (1,2,5,3)

which is a damn good idea. ima see if i cant get a good score that way

Haha, a fun thing to do it take a good look at the slopes of your arrow keys. Then re-arrange them so that they are all sloping toward the centre.

That is identical to mine! What brand of keyboard do you have?

Just the HP keyboard that came with my computer. I used to have a Razer Tarantula, but the arrow keys would not press after a while...locked up. Had to return it.
