according to the ppl at future shop, vista is on the driver disk or w/e and all other drivers on that comp (sound cards w/e) ain't compatible with xp. dunno much bout OS's and hardware so no clue.

but 3gbs of ram + quad core should be able to handle ffr?

It's possible, and very easy, to change over. It's just very time consuming. :[
Mostly because of SATA, and OEM problems.

Just make sure you go online and tweak as much as possible.

I also have a quad core computer with 3 GB RAM and Vista.

Don't worry, just time yourself a bit earlier on hitting the arrows and your PA will be fine. About 200 of my AAAs, including all my best ones, were done on Vista. It's possible to PA well on it, if you know how.

@Yukari: updated your score. If you get rid of those misses, even if means getting boos/averages/goods, you'll still greatly improve your score.

I had an FC once but it ended up being worse than my posted score. I think I was a little too gung-ho about hitting all the arrows... I'm trying to work on cutting the Misses in half even, while not booing so much. Basically, I'm shooting for Sarah Jane's score at the moment.

                EDIT: **** YEAH

Turned the speed mod up to x1.50, first try.

just wanna ask, who has a mashable keyboard here? where you can press more than 2 arrowkeys at once? this is great advantage to a one hander and really eliminate all the drag misses which really pisses me off. ie. up-down-leftright really pisses me off cuz i'm bound to get a good on the leftright jump. and all those note-note-jump combo/jumpstreams really does that too. even if it registers it'll still beep and lag badly.

                      I don't have a mashable keyboard.

Funny you ask, I had to switch my keyboard out for another one to play Start Something. I can press all 4 arrow keys at once on this one. It's possible that your keyboard can do a combination other than the arrow keys though. Have you tried remapping? All you have to do is open up notepad and start mashing sets of 4 keys until you find one that works - if you find one that works.

I don't think that would matter. The way signals are sent from pressing a key depend on the keyboard - some can take more than others. If your arrow keys can't be pressed all at once, mapping to say, asdf and mashing like that wouldn't work either. Besides, mashing would kill you in a PA based tourney.

And for the record, my keyboard can support ^v> and <v>, but not <^v or <^>..so no mashing.

P.S I'm updating everybody's scores as you post them, so you can expect quick results when you post a score.

well i can do that with spread, just not 1hand config. and i really have to use the arrow keys cuz i hate hitting UD jumps when there's a key under the down key.

i can hit 4 notes with askl and zx23 (my spread config). and it's not about mashing, but the fact that you can slide into a jump like you can slide right-left rolls will make it a big advantage.

^v> and <v> beeps immediately, <^v or <^> beeps a few seconds later...
