Welcome to Gun92's FFR Tournament. This is a first for me to bare with me as I get all the essentials down for you. This is going to be like a vast majority of the tournaments
out there. There will be 8 rounds, 3 days for each round. I know how those long rounds get, lets wait 5 or 6 days for everyone to finish of half of them doesn't even
bother to submit, it's just annoying. So I figure 3 days is a good amount of time for each round. Ill post the elimination break down once the tournament starts and the elimination line will always be up so you know if your in trouble or not. Everyone above the line is safe and everyone below the line is in danger of being knocked out. AAAing a song will all but guarantee you to move on to the next round, unless everyone else managed to AAA the song, then the tiebreaker round kicks in.

Prizes will most likely be credits, something I'm not well endowed in at the moment. I'll have 8k+ by the end of today so donations will be more than happily excepted. Sign ups will last for two weeks, possibly a little longer, based on the amount of people that I get to sign up. A few simple things. No cheating, if your caught, your out, simple as that. Scores are to be posted in this thread or PM'd to me by the deadline, I will not accept anything past the deadline. Everyone that doesn't get a post close to the deadline in round one will receive 1 reminder and that is it.
There will be 4 divisions.
Beginner (Beginner-Standard songs)
Intermediate (Standard-Difficult songs)
Advanced (Difficult-Challenging songs)
Master (Challenging-FMO songs)
The last round of the tournament will be a difficulty jump. Basically Beginner will play a Tricky song and the Masters will play a FGO song. I will do my utmost to stay away from token songs so it's fair to everyone. Tiebreakers will be announced when everyone in a division posts the same score above the cut off line or if someone just above the line has the same score as someone just below the line. If a tiebreaker is needed, one day will be set aside for those to complete the song and post. Tiebreakers will be a difficulty jump just as the last round in the tournament.
Each round will begin at 11:30pm EST and will end at 11:00pm EST after the three days are up. The half an hour is designed so I can get last minute updates and eliminations posted. Please don't whine if a tiebreaker is needed, its only an extra day so chill. The only time a round extension will be granted is in the first if not enough people post. Do your best to get your scores in on time and have fun, I want this to be competitive and fun for everyone. Any suggestions you may have, PM me and I will take them into consideration.
To sign up, either PM me or say that you want in on this thread. You may pick your division but please go into what will challenge you the most, I don't want to see any really good players sandbagging. If I catch it, Ill place you in the Masters division so just don't do it. If you wish to donate, tell me who you are and how much you donated so I know who to give props to on this page.
