While it is a bit more confusing than in the example shown (if I posted a 64 bracket, that'd be too fricken big, plus I couldn't come up with all the names <_<), that's basically how the 64 brackets will works. Although that is quite a good idea with the byes. I was thinking of something a bit different.
Something to remember: - TWO LOSES AND YOU'RE ELIMINATED
1ST PLACE 2ND PLACE 3RD PLACE Purple means that this set had no losers come in from the Winner's bracket
Bracket posted. Looks fugly on the front page. It's quite a bit different than what I said in the post, but eh, it'll work. The program wouldn't let me do it the way I wanted.
Dang, being in college sucks. Especially over the summer -- I have class at 2:40 EST. But we have lots of time. Won't there be lots of cases of tiebreakers, though? For easier songs, there are going to be a ton of AAA's.
"This accounts for both the winner’s bracket and the loser’s bracket. If I get submissions early (both participants got an AAA on the first song)" from the rules.
Does this imply that the first to AAA essentially wins, as it is unbeatable? In general, a tie's victory goes to the first to submit?

Yeah, there's going to be a ton of AAA's. The difficulty range will go up in the later rounds, so there won't be as many. I have the easy songs first so that it won't seem like a tie breaker song right off the bat for the more novice players.
No, what I meant when both participants get an AAA, that means that they move on to the next song. If, by the third song, both players still get AAA's, I'll have a true tiebreaker song.
