"Hey everyone!
Stepocalypse week has started! Due to the lack of responses to the scheduling probe and the nature of the responses I did get, the Competitive tier won't be on a set schedule. Just remember, the deadline for playing October 7th at 11:59 PM server time, and you MUST play each set as a continuous, 75 minute session (shorter than 75 minutes is obviously fine). Everyone who submits scores for both sets will get credits. The deadline for submitting scores is October 8th, same time."
Just posting this in case anyone else didn't read the PM thoroughly.
At this point, everyone should be done playing. If you played during the week but didn't submit your scores, please do so within the next 24 hours. Stats are being compiled, and I plan on announcing the results on Thursday night by the latest.
I'm currently at 7 full submissions (with a promise of an eighth) and 3 unpaired tier sets.
Going to be doing my uploads right now, Lurker. Should have them done soon just have to organize them for easier data input And to make sure everything is in order.
A couple of notes about the results here. First of all, yes, this is everyone who played both sets (and everyone who submitted scores, period, minus one person). Unfortunately a lot of people couldn't submit for one reason or another, and I'd rather not focus on that too much.
Second, the scores for the Competitive tier may seem a little off. Due to various slips in the rules, every player in the tier had at least one score halved, and two had their entire second sets halved since they played yesterday rather than during the week.
Anyway, some messing around with the set scores (which ended up not mattering), as well as the credit prizes for the competitors, can be found on the Set Results page of this spreadsheet. If you want to see all of the scores that were submitted during the tourney (or want to figure out what the numbers next to everyone's names above mean), you can view them in this spreadsheet, but be warned: it's HUGE! I will send out the prizes later today when I'm not sleep-deprived and likely to mess up the numbers.
Finally, I'd like to thank everyone who helped me figure out the set lists (especially rCaliberGX for contributing two unreleased files) and helped tweak the format a bit beforehand- it was a blast. And of course, a huge thanks to everyone who competed. I'd love to see more serious Stepmania competition in the future, but perhaps something a bit more straightforward.
Back to grinding FMOs!
EDIT: Credits have been sent out. I hope everyone enjoyed it!
