Aside from the fact that divisional placements are relative to the skill levels of the players participating, both of you are fairly close in this tournament. Adding in the raw scores from last round from MephBoss, here are the standings.


This averages out to approximately 183 raw score per round, or a 3.66 good lead on you per song played. He really isn't leagues better than you according to raw data alone, so if he is D5, you probably are as well.

EDIT: Additional findings indicate that _fluttershy_ seems to be tied for the highest raw scorer for any given song throughout the tournament (where mephboss is 4, _fluttershy_ is 4, and ReikonKeiri is 2). The thing keeping fluttershy and popsicle at bay however seems to be the round five songs, which both mephboss and ReikonKeiri scored significantly higher than the other fully participating D4 players on.

Although I don't have much room to say anything, some people are just better at one thing than others, while the others might be better at something else

FMO AAA =/= D5 (not necessarily, unless something like 3020)

It actually might shock a few that I picked it. I stick to picking charts I mostly wouldn't mind whoring, and let me tell you, its no kept secret I cannot stand that chart.

I cannot believe that you actually bothered to add that all up!

It really didn't take that long. Excel uses formulas, which I used to auto sum all of the scores that I copy-pasted from your excel spread sheet. I would say I spent 5 minutes max on this.

Plus I was bored and saw a little argument going on, so I figured I could shed some raw data onto the matter!

Wait, are you sure? Let me post how I got to that number, and then you can show me how you got to yours.

183 raw score per round, which is divided amongst two songs, yielding 91.5 raw score per song. Since a good is worth 25 raw score, I divided 91.5 by 25 to get a 3.66 good lead per song. Meaning that on any given file, ReikonKeiri would be trailing slightly behind by (on average) getting 3.66 more goods than Mephboss. Obviously they have gotten averages, misses, and boos as well, but this generalizes everything by comparing it as goods.

If I messed something up or I missed something, feel free to correct me though.

EDIT: At 6 1/2 goods per song, the lead would be 13 goods per round. This would mean that mephboss would be scoring 325 raw score over ReikonKeiri per round, resulting in him being ahead in first by a much higher total raw score, 1625, instead of 915.

Foxfire's calculations are correct. Though if you didn't separate it individually it would be more like ~7.something per round.
