so is it just me or is everyone that submitted scores for d3 going through to the next round? I almost feel bad for anyone that actually tried to get good scores

Good scores are never a waste. I encourage improving scores even without the immediate threat of elimination. I hope to help bring about self-improvement through friendly competition.
Besides, there are other prizes at stake I haven't disclosed yet...

Yeah, same, I kinda half-assed it and I'm pleased with these scores cause I'll go through with them! XP
Will probably try and AAA the first two songs though cause I can lol

Same for D1 so far. At the same time, if it were not for this tournament I would have very little motivation to attempt AAA on Straight to Video. It is way too long and repetitive, and neither the song nor the chart are very interesting. Although, (got the idea by watching my brother play the song with headphones so I could not hear) the rhythm of the arrows in the beginning plus a few added before the chart starts, are pretty much the exact same as the rhythm for one of my favorite songs in Pop'n Music. I guess it is time for a sponcon. First person to figure out what song I am referring to gets 1000 credits. You can use any method to help including asking me details (other than the title itself) and unlimited guesses. Deadline is the end of round 1. Go.
Edit: There are some details (one in particular) that I will not tell you because it would give the whole thing away, but there is a question related to it that I will answer. (I will say what both questions are if someone asks one of them)
Hint (sort of) - the related question that I will answer is boolean (i.e., has one of only two possible answers: yes/no; true/false; et cetera) *checks relevant details to make sure I remember them*

Ooh, shiny. I can hardly wait to see what they are.
No matter what tournament you play it's likely you're going to come across something you don't like or are very bad at. If you want to get into the competitive side of FFR you need to learn how to deal with and overcome these songs/charts.
