Re: Team Chaos!
I'll be moving over to competitive very soon, though. My fingers feel just as nimble as before, with hopefully very little skill slippage since last month.
Oh, and AJ/llama, I'm on a ton so I can help out with tryouts and sorting if y'all ever need a vacation.
My suggestions for competitive choices are:
Novice: Easiest to Easy
Intermediate: Easy to Difficult
Advanced: Difficult to Very Challenging
Expert: Very Challenging to high FMO
Master: Low FGO and upComment

Re: Team Chaos!
Well, I think that's as far as highest AAA is concerned, more or less. Still, I suppose I did put it a little weakly on the lower two divisions...
If someone can AAA FGO files, even the lower-end ones, they're easily Master level. If, say, they tend to have more avs and boos on FMO/FGO songs, but can really stick it to most VCs, go Advanced. When they clean up their scores on 11s and 12s, but still not the best PA, move them to Expert.
If, on the other hand, they tend to struggle some with the 9s and 10s, but really smack the hell out of the 7s and 8s, Intermediate is the way to go. Anything lower, go Novice.
Still, remember that divisional standards are highly dynamic bars of skill. With the increase in sudden skill jumps on FGO songs, Masters may need several excellent scores on mid to high FGOs to stay up at the top.Comment

Re: Team Chaos!
Alright, so I brought up an idea to Llama - Matt, and we talked about it and how this would be cool for the group.
Basically it goes something like this....
I was thinking something like the NFL draft sort of, you have 5 spots for the competitive section, in each division, take one player from each and put them on a team, the highest ranked player would be the captain of each team, then the captains would get to select one player from each division, then when teams are picked, we could have an inside the group challenge, while we wait for outside challenges.
Then we have say.... one or two players from the non competitive pick songs for each division, it's just like a tourney, except in our group. Then each team gets points based on how well they did on their song, and in the end we will determine a winning team, I mean since it is TC the group, being individually judged would be selfish.
This was a thought, and we both agreed it would be pretty cool, of course after the event they have planned.

Re: Team Chaos!
Novice/Inter/Advanced are a bit too lenient. Expert and Master are what we've had for a while.I'll be moving over to competitive very soon, though. My fingers feel just as nimble as before, with hopefully very little skill slippage since last month.
