Well, this is simple enough. It all started in 1986...when Punxsutawney Phil traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with President Reagan. While the two were in a tree enjoying Earl Gray tea and discussing "Reaganomics", Phil blurted about a movie he had "recently" seen called Taxi Driver(NOTICE! Phil is a HUGE fan of Taxi Driver!) and Phil soon fell to the ground...landing on his tail. Reagan was deeply apologetic on his actions and was also believed to have said(Source: Fez, the Iranian garden worker) "All in all, I'd rather be in Philadelphia". Reagan and Phil were soon united in love....until Reagan dumped Phil for a twin-headed Elvis clone named Shirley.
