Re: The Revenge of Animarathon: FFR-Convention Part II
Seriously, ever single hotel in Bowling Green is on the road right across the road from the BGSU campus. All them are good locations, you just have to decide on quality vs. cheap.

dang, I'd show up but ill never convince my parents to let me miss school for this. Come time for 2009 convention, ill have a car, I can run away from home or something.
EDIT: Anybody in the New york tri-state area willing to help me escape? Its only like 600 miles drive from the city to the convention

Nah. I think the only time a hotel books out in Bowling Green is around President's Day or just before fall semester when potential students come to check out the campus.
And, Cosmic M, if you arrange it properly, you won't miss any school. You'll just have a lot of fun driving.
gnr61, if you split the bill with someone, the hotel price isn't that bad. You can ask Tass what hole he stayed in last year. I'm pretty sure that was the cheapest place in town.

Nestle, You should edit in a list of eligable Drivers.
I'd be more than willing to take up to 5 people around the Philadelphia area. Or people who can get to the philadelphia area.AAA's = 800

Re: The Revenge of Animarathon: FFR-Convention Part II
I might come this year but I have school the two weeks in between the event. I could skip Friday and Monday of school so I can drive there and back on those two days.... maybe....
After my Minneapolis trip I learned that I could go somewhere far away on an extremely low budget, so I could maybe get a couple hundred dollars for this trip if I can find someone to let me stay in a hotel room with them for free roflComment

Quik... I didn't know that you left Bowling Green. When was that?"I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death."-Robert Fulghrum
