Just a random idea. [Tera] suggested Anime Next for June. It's usually a big hit, but this December, New York Anime Festival is debuting. Since Big Apple Anime Fest got canceled a few years ago, New York Anime Festival is expecting to be a huge turn out.

Just thought it'd give FFR huge exposure if it were to.. well idk.. do what they did at that other convention, haha.

lol i may have a meeting place Ocean County Library their hall can hold up to 250 people and all i need to do is get a date from them then i will be weiling to inform you guys

I'm thinking if possible like a 20 person meetup at Six Flags or something, that is if we can get enough people that are willing to go, and actually keep their word. The Six Flags thing was recommened before, and it failed, but we have more time to plan it out and everything, I'm 100% willing to go.

Although yeah, a small meetupish thing by ITS wouldn't be bad.

PS, ITS = In The Swing, batting cages / arcade / lot of children

I've still never been to ITS, rofl. A few of my friends work there, so whatever.

If it's going to be at least a some-what large meet-up, then keep it to like Six Flags or something (I doubt I would be able to make it though), but if it's like around 10 people or less, meeting up at ITS wouldn't be too bad.

few things... 1. if you guys are going to run a NJ convention, you should have someone who is a bit more of a regular run it. no offense.

Alright an NJ meetup would be awesome. A bunch of SM regulars (myself included) tossed the ITS idea around before. This wouldn't be a "convention" but it would be a cool meetup.

The thing is do we want an actual convention, or just a group of FFR people just kind of hanging out with a bunch of computers around to relax?

If we wanted to be serious about it get people who are more responsible, and older to get in touch with a place that we could possibly use for the day. If we actually get a place to let us do a mini convention I think more people would show up that way.

If not we just get people to come out and hang.

Btw this can't be between August 8th-15th. I'm going to be in Texas and I'd cry if I missed an NJ convention/meetup thingy.
