    4th of July meetup

I'm wanting to have a small meetup in my area around the time of Independence Day. Kansas City area. I know a lot of people are going to want to be with their families and stuff like that, but I'll post anyway. There might be a few people that would go

I want this meetup to be pretty small, so this is probably only for people in a 200 mile radius of Kansas City. If you're farther away, talk to me if you're wanting to come. But I'm thinking about going to an arcade or two, the amusement park in the area, and maybe some other stuff. I'm mainly doing this because I want to have a big 4th of July party here. Have whoever shows up stay at my house for the night and we all go buy a ton of fireworks and crap and spend all night doing that stuff.

I'll give more details after I see the public opinion

    Re: 4th of July meetup

I still want to do this. I remember talking about this last year or something. Unfortunately, my situation has not improved. The more information that I could get earlier, the easier it would make a decision for me. I know that there will be quite a few different events that people will want me to attend around the 4th. I'll just have to figure out which one to go to.

Also, this might be a hard weekend to do this, as I think you already mentioned, I forgot everything that you said and I don't want to reread. Another weekend owuld probably be easier for me.

It's called Worlds of Fun. It's pretty much the only amusement park in the city (and kinda sucks but whatever)

and Psycho, yeah I know. Last year I wanted to do a huge meetup here this summer. Now I just want a small one so we could do this 4th of July thing. I know it would be hard to get to come to because of which holiday it is, but I don't think I want to change the date. Another reason why I know it'd be small

For those who care (probably none, due to the amount of replies):

This thing is starting on July 3rd and goes to July 5th I guess. We're meeting up somewhere in the city on the 3rd and doing whatever we want to do, then do the same on the 4th. At night we'll be going to see some firework show somewhere, then we'll be buying fireworks and setting them off all night (if we have enough)
