why not award some fictional currency bonus for quest/dungeon completion to use in a shop or for buying items from other players?

We originally had this idea but after a brief discussion we left it alone; if players would like such to be implemented as a trading post I'm sure we can get it done by next tuesday. We are also still finalizing changes on how dungeons fully work so there may not be any use for certain items.

Ah, dang it. I finally completed the token chain quest today just to come back and find that now I have to go AAA something (not happening today, rip). Well, I'll just post what I've got atm.

Get at least 340 perfects on "8-Bit Day Dreamer" to unlock Lift Up.


Get a full combo on "Lift Up" to unlock R3 (Omega Mix).


Get a Full Combo on "R3 (Omega Mix)" with at least 650 perfects to unlock All of the World.


Get either 1 good or a AAA on "All of the World" to unlock The Pylons Are TRAP BALLS.


Get a Full Combo with 546+ perfects on "The Pylons Are TRAP BALLS" to unlock Dawn.


Get a Full Combo on "Dawn" with 788+ Perfects to unlock Clash at the Mountains.


Get a Full Combo with 9 or fewer goods on "Clash at the Mountains" to unlock PLANETZ.


Get a Full Combo on "PLANETZ" to unlock Mou Uta Shika Kikoenai.


Get a Full Combo on "Kyuin" with 20 or fewer goods, 2 or fewer averages, and 2 or fewer boos to unlock The Five.

Hoping this will work ok. Since credits are awarded essentially by GT/50,000 this should show an adequate amount of GT earned (around 1500 credits).

Yeah we had a big talk about how a shop 'could' work without giving it that pay 2 win feel. There was the idea about a fictional currency reward from dungeons (which can drop from chests, people can sell items back to the shop, etc.) or there could be straight up stat points payment for shop items.

I've already got an idea for a couple of items that can go up in the shop too, but the biggest thing that's making it concerning & holding it back is what would be best for everyone.

What does everyone else think? Which would you like more? A stationary, basic money system using stat points, or a bit more of an integrated system involving chests & rewards using a gold currency, something along those lines?

What does everyone else think? Which would you like more? A stationary, basic money system using stat points, or a bit more of an integrated system involving chests & rewards using a gold currency, something along those lines?

If you used stat points as currency I'd probably ignore the shop in favor of maxing the character unless there was a very good reason to buy something

Yup; these are some of the issues that arise when we decide to discuss about the possible store
