82 might be one point too high for Poison of the Earth but I'd be surprised to see it go under 81.
80 puts it alongside Return to Fire, which is both 25 bpm slower than the main JS part of Poison of the Earth and less densely layered.
It honestly seems properly placed to me judging by the patterns and speed, we'll have to see if the scoreboard supports that.

I'd go with 81, 82 would put it on par with Ehhen which is definitely not the case in terms of density or awkward patterning.

D1-D5 songs and charts were really fun. I enjoyed them all. D6 song was stepped well but gah I can't stand that genre of music. D7 song was cool but I have a hatred towards long jacks soooo that kinda ruined the file for me. Everything else in the file was fun to play.

D5 wins my favorite of all of them though.

Wow the tournament is definitely kicking the difficulty up. I don't know if I'm going to be able to AAA this time, but I sure as hell will try. Currently 9 goods on Poinsettia

Personally, I wouldn't agree with this just based off of my experience with Ehhen and now Poison. I got a 1-1-1-2 on Ehhen my first try, and got 2-0-1-1 my second try of Poison.

I'd definitely keep it at 82, but like Hi19 said, we'll have to see if the scoreboard shows that it's worthy of being an 82. :]

Could we change the genre of Poison from grunge lol it is pretty damn far from grunge.
I'd go with deathcore, maybe specifically technical/progressive deathcore... really anything more accurate than grunge please lol

D5 song is awesome, also sightread AAA lol oops
D7 is great except for the jacks, which ruin my score. The 24ths aren't that hard since they're in friendly patterns
D6 is well-stepped, but song choice is meh. I'm just glad I didn't toally bomb all the trills lol
D1-D4 all good. D1 is gonna have a hard time with grace notes, I reckon. D4 was very straightforward.

Quick thoughts. Hard to decide on a single favorite this round since I really liked both the D2 and the D3 song.

D1: Everfree - OOH LA OOH LAY EH

D2: Senorita Bonita - Pretty enjoyable. The slow jumptrills felt a bit lackluster, but there really doesn't seem to be anything else you can do for those sections, haha.

D3: Autumn Breeze - I think I've playtested this file for ya before, and I recall I didn't have many things to point out about it, haha. It's still really fun, and the song is pretty neat as well.

D4: Poinsettia - Oh hey, I know this song!! A little too jump/hand-heavy for my tastes, but well-stepped regardless.

D5: Exclusive Utopia - I kinda hoped this would be a full-blown dubstep song so I could post this video again:

... Oh, oops, I posted it anyway. Carry on.

D6: Poison of the Earth - I'll have to give this a full playthrough another day. I don't know if it's just because I've not been playing too well today, but I thought the jumpstream patterns were really awkward and found myself quitting out not even halfway through the song.

D7: MANIERA - This file is a lot more fun than I thought it'd be. Props to Nathan.

Yeah, agrees with progressive deathcore.
While we're at it, we should consider changing those songs that are labeled grunge :

It's Too Loud is rap rock with a bit of emo-pop.
Saddest RMX is a mix of cybergrind, breakcore and mathcore.
Largiloquent Dithyramb is hard to classify, I would say it's primarly alternative metal with doom metal as secondary and thrash metal riffs.

edit : btw if anyone wanna help with giving songs proper genres, I'm still doing this
