dude, i had many, many strangers take pics for me. i grabbed three random kids inside of wal mart to do a pillow fight, and then another random person to take it while i beat them with pillow pets.

I'm with alloyus. The whole reason the first few were so fun is because you had such a limited time to get them all; the winners were those who truly put in a ton of effort in such a limited amount of time.
Sure your participation goes down, but watching people scramble is part of the fun of this.

Oh man, this is going to be a challenge. Hopefully some of them I can actually get done AT work! That would be fantastic.

I'm really excited, but it's still so far away. Wish there was a meantime contest like last time! I just want to be sure this is sucessful. It's not as fun with so few people.

As far as I've noticed (maybe I'm wrong, if this isn't the case then staff, feel free to just tell me and I'll remove my OP and you can close it) nobody in staff was interested in even entertaining the idea of putting together a photo hunt aside from Kayla back when her and I ran the last one. If a true, FFR staff-run photo hunt is going to happen, I'll back down and let them do it (and gladly help, too). I just haven't seen any indication whatsoever that I'm not the only one who has any desire to run this.

As far as I know, I haven't received a single PM/IM or wall post regarding anything about running an official contest on behalf of the staff. With the events planned between now and new years, I can totally dig seeing an official photo scavenger hunt happening. But this wouldn't be until shortly after the new year.

I know this sounds rough, but keep going with this thing, I am just going to re-label it as 'Justin_ator's Unofficial Photo Scavenger Hunt'. I can make a mention of it in this weeks final round tournament post if you guys would like, I have no issue with that. But in future, try a little bit harder to get staff attention. It only takes PM'ing ONE of us, and asking that we cross-post into the staff forum. (That way everyone knows what is going on and there isn't any confusion.)

So, after all that. Best of luck with the contest guys! I would enter but I am about as photogenic as a wet shoe~

For the moment, I'm going to shelve this. Very little interest so far and I really would like to see an official one that kicked ass. I'll see if I can get in contact with staff to see what kind of things they'd want to do for the official one, and if they'd want/need help with things. I apologize to those that were looking forward to it, but a month long competition between five people isn't all that great.. With more time before either a) the official one, or b) me holding this one later on down the road, it'll also give me time to develop a more interesting and exciting list of pictures/videos for you all to have a shot at. I can't say I'm entirely satisfied with my list as of this moment, and I want to fix that.

Again, I do apologize for those that were excited to do this, and I promise you that you will see one, official or not, in the not too distant future.
