July 1st Despite all of our societal problems, I feel that I truly am blessed to be born and raised in this country. We live in a 1st world country, with free health care to all citizens, lots of open space, a tolerable climate, gorgeous landscapes, clean water, plenty of good relations with other countries, two national languages, the metric system, poutine, nanaimo bars, maple syrup and an overwhelming abundance of national pride (minus Quebec). I like to think that I'm a pretty lucky girl to call myself a Canadian. ▌♥ ▌ Happy Canada Day!
Like, grind2 feels like what would happen if Dead and Direct had sex with Frictional Nevada and had a sick, warped lovechild on crack, and then that child took an epic dump on your lawn. That dump = grind2

Well, being Canadian and all I went through my Facebook collection to see what I could come up with. Here's what I got.
#1: A friend and I went curling last winter. On our way to the arena we saw a flag pole with the flag not hung (it was hanging down to the ground!) We got out and fixed it up the best we could and each took a picture with it.
#2: So in Toronto there are giant moose (meese?) statues around the city. I happened to walk by one of them a couple of summers ago and had to take a picture because well, how could you not get a picture of yourself with a giant moose statue?
#3: Finally, here's a picture of me actually getting ready to throw the puck in curling.
