You all really should post the full, updated queue in the first post. I might even look through the thread and compile the queue list for you all if you would edit the first post when I finished.
@ all of my comments/rants on your judging style or whatever:
85% of my sims are accepted when they're submitted, without having to have changes made. But it's the part that isn't accepted first try that bothers me. With all of the experience I have, I'd think that I make all of my sims pretty damn fun (at least my FFR sims) and easily doable in the game. There are the few exceptions though.
I still don't think that the files I step are "overstepped" or something. Yes, there might be one little spot or maybe two in a file that needs a little tweaking, but when you guys say that the file is overstepped: it really sounds like you're saying the whole file is crap. I assume all of the other simfile artists think this as well. You don't go in depth enough in your overstepped comments. You need to say exactly which parts are overstepped or whatever the hell is wrong with them.
Now for all of the me being level admin fighting last month: The reason above is why I wanted to do this. I wanted to give a better description of why the files are not suitable for the queue. Simply "overstepped" is not enough. Now... I'm past all of that, and probably don't care to do it anymore. But I still, really, really want to sync the files that go into the game. That's all I want to do now.
The simfiles that I send you tonight will mostly probably be accepted without a second thought. A few (Love Cheat and Brain of the Moon, maybe more), give me the feeling that you'll say that they're overstepped. Know that they're not. The music is hyper and interesting, so you just can't add single notes to a bunch of the parts. You have to add jumps to make the sim interesting and really fun.

Odd. Seems like they would have more experience with the subject they're complaining about than the players. Likewise they'd have bias, but that seems like that would only apply to their own files. If they're going to complain about bad files that made into the game that they themselves didn't make, which Hi19 has done many times, then their input should at least be somewhat acknowledged. Players may be able to judge more major problems such as how fun the file is, playability, and major off sync sections, but the stepfile artists can notice the smaller problems in a file...

Woah 13...I sent 1 about 3 days ago. I won't be dissapointed if it doesn't make it, because it was my first submission. Regardless, though, I will continue to try and step a worthy file.

You're taking it out of context. By "we don't care about the stepfile artists" he means that he doesn't care what the submitter of songs likes how they judge. Artists who complain about offsync/bad files are complaining as players, not steppers.Comment

hopefully we'll have an update tonight... and if so, i'll make sure it is MASSIVE (aka, the entire queue)...
although from the looks of things, expect it tomorrow. i'm still about 40 songs away from finishing, no idea where Shash is on the batch... and i'm heading out for most of the night. Real Life has been a bitch the past week towards judging files, but the rest of the week is clear sailing... will have a ton of time to fix up random FFR stuff.RIPComment

Files that are oldest in the queue/have been in the queue the longest should be at the top. The files at the top will be the ones that we will expect to see next in the game. Your file (if accepted) would be near the bottom of the queue, and wouldn't be released for possibly a few months.
That's if the list goes by date. He could just do a list in alphabetic order.Comment

If the list he posts is in alphabetic order, then the order isn't accurate. Simfiles will STILL be released in order of how long they've been in the queueComment
