Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Hmm. Weird. Is there some rule about simfile submissions I missed? I could swear I covered all of the necessary steps.
EDIT
Problem is, I sent the files on 1/11/09, which should have been with plenty of time to spare.Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Then simply check your email inbox. If you haven't received the email, then you must've sent it to the wrong email address.Last edited by DJAirWave; 01-15-2009, 10:14 PM.Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Some of the more common reasons why you may not see your simfile other than missing the deadline:
- Not naming the folder of your simfile correctly. For organizational reasons, it's easier if everyone would label their folders as "*song name* (*your username here*)". See the batch pic for examples.
- Within the simfile itself: having freezes, more than one difficulty, or missing the simfile in your folder.
- Did you send your simfiles to the right email address?Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
For Kirby (or literally from Japanese, according to JX, "the pink thing which swallows everything")
It's obviously not the original Scorpion Fire song. Remix is by fether. Is actually a medley of at least five songs.
Alright, so I guess the next best thing is to PM Tass.- I named the folders as directed.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Is that the official name? I just made a literal translation. Some people just call it Sasoribi, which is incorrect since that doesn't make any implications that the song is a remix. So should it be called Piano Concerto No. 1 "ANTI-ARES" (Kirby Dirge) then? Kinda long-winded. The song remix is not even really a dirge anymore; if anything, it's the opposite (happy melodies). The original song's "dirge" genre doesn't lend itself to the remix.Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
idk kles told me it was called kirby dirge ages ago
calling it piano concerto no. 1 (anti-ares) is misleading since it's got a lot more then just that song in it and has a very different feel in addition
kirby dirge is a cool name anyway
edit: OK according to this ultra-definitive source (aka www.youtube.com/watch?v=BquBzA1xDt4 ) the genre is kirby dirge
edit: hey speaking of songs with retardedly hard bms charts for them, can we get gengaozo permission? <.<;Last edited by Patashu; 01-15-2009, 11:10 PM.Patashu makes Chiptunes in Famitracker:
