    Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread

Hey, Blu, when you said that "Slowdown part has more swung notes than you stepped" on the To luv me blah blah blah file, which slowdown did you mean? The one with the 32nds or the one with the 24ths and 16ths?

Also, lol, i got a [--] on a file that i really shouldn't have ever stepped, BRB killing myself.

      Gym Leader (RBY) (Xandertrax)

blu - missed some synth 8th notes in some parts, listen carefully

jx - felt it lacks the layer for bass drum inconsistently (mainly 4ths)
Still waiting for a tiny bit of elaboration on this. Any particular measures that you can point out? I need to get the fix'd version to tass.

      edit: nvm thanks blu.

Somehow I'm under the impression that a mistake-free file doesn't guarantee you a release anyway.

Robert what happened to the file I sent you like two months ago? You were supposed to test it right.

you're thinking of simfiles in entirely too simplistic a way. there is soooo much more to stepping than having correct sync and rhythms. not to mention no one stepartist will have the same definition of a 'mistake,' but that should be pretty obvious.

You misread my post: I said that having no mistakes doesn't guarantee you a release - and I said that for the exact reasons you pointed out in your post. For example, the simfile I submitted is highly pitch relevant and has a few instances of triple jacks. They're not ridiculously hard to do, and they're "correct"... but they may not be what FFR is looking for. So, my technically correct file won't be released.

I agree with your post wholeheartedly; just, next time, read mine a little more carefully, okay?
