It's a commentary on the state of judging in FFR. Artists feel silenced by having make files to the specifications of others.

blu came to me about the blank .sm file.... so i went and checked to see if it was my error in unzipping or your error. and i re-checked... it's a .sm file with all the head data, but no notechart. so i checked your older one (which i had ignored when you submitted a new one anyway... as any logical person would) and it was also blank.

so... whole bunch of things:

1. you submitted the same file multiple times for 1 batch, which as i've ranted on is a bit pet peeve of mine. double, triple, quadrouple check your file again and again to make sure it's perfect. THEN submit it once. i get enough emails as it is.
2. you didn't even bother to verify that you actually HAD a file in the zip and not just a 300 byte nothing.
3. clearly you don't know the rules for FFR files... one of the most discussed is the policy on hands. no hands in non-FMO files.
4. lastly... it's obvious you didn't send your file to anyone else for testing, because that person would have caught at least the 2nd one (can't catch the 3rd if the 2nd is present). and if the 2nd wasn't there, they'd have caught the 3rd. and possibly given you suggestions to have not caused the 1st.
5. at least you fixed your avatar.

What the **** was I thinking...

You dont even allow the possibility to fix the mistake so there's nothing I can do. Man, who would have thought this stepfile thing was gonna be hard. I bet 3/4 of the files on this batch wouldn't compare with Blue Sky, yeah, thats how ****ing confident I am. Whatever....I'll worry about stepfiles after I become number 1. This whole thing is just whack. You could come up with a better system for preparations/testings of files worth more than a dollar, this just takes too damn long. I'll read the rules so I actually know what to do next time. But man, reading is such a B****. Ok guys, Justin out.
