Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm just really nervous. Not because of the song, but because this is the first time I ever stepped a song. It took me 2 1/2 hours of trial and error and all I hope is that it's good enough for FFR. But like I said, it's my first time stepping a song.Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Few, few people make a first file that is any good whatsoever...someone go play my Night of Fire, my first simfile. It's a train wreck. Wrong sync, probably wrong bpm, and lol overstepped
As you make more files and start to gain some instincts for filemaking and what makes a file good, you'll gradually improve. Don't expect your first file to be any good, and don't be disappointed or upset if it gets totally rejected as an FFR submission.
on another note...damn behanjc, make more files. you are one good freakin simartist4th Official FFR Tournament - Master division champion!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Well so far so good. I don't think I overstepped it, and I don't think the arrows are out of sync. But it's likely that there are many flaws in it that I'm unaware of. It's just a waiting game now. I hope for the best, but I'm prepared for the worst.Few, few people make a first file that is any good whatsoever...someone go play my Night of Fire, my first simfile. It's a train wreck. EDIT: There is one flaw in the file. If you make the Arrows do those weird clapping sounds, you'll hear gaps in some points. I actually did that on purpose because, according to guidelines, 0-3 jacks aren't allowed. No matter where the arrows would've been it would've created a 0-3 jack, so I just decided to leave the arrow out.Last edited by DJAirWave; 08-6-2008, 11:28 PM.Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
[+.] is basically like a weak [+], given for files that are somewhat generic/uninteresting or could use some improvement but are basically good enough for FFR.4th Official FFR Tournament - Master division champion!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Submitted my first file - a pretty nice piano piece by Nubbin called Please Wake Up that has a couple hands in it so that we can perhaps introduce that technique to the less experienced players?
The file itself is probably no more than a 3 or maaayyybe a 4 (I'd stick with a 3).Comment
