Not if they like the song. Some of the newer grindcore stuff is pretty avant-garde.

Oh man.. I hope that 101 Kittens file from stargroup doesn't get released yet because I am sending in my very last revision on it. I've changed a lot of the patterns, but it goes better with the rhythm. I fixed the offset and everything. One...more...try...

hey tass, i got your e-mail. yeah, i just got direct permission. go me.
anyways, i sent in dr. mario fever, but he wants to be called DJ Pickle.
In dmf, the author name was pickleman77(his newgrounds username).
Anyways, if dmf is good enough to get in(which i doubt) take the time to change the name plz.

I have so many avant-garde stepfiles for FFR that I'm really hesitant to submit at the moment. One of them is so experimental even I forget how I layered the file. lol

They may be really experimental, but they are ridiculously fun. Actually, PARANOiA was an experiment that turned out a success.

I'll probably have the judges test it outside the batch.

Well, revising didn't take long for me actually, and I still have a good amount of confidence on my file before completely throwing in the towel. And bmah stepped it too eh? Hmmm...

Avant-garde is basically experimental music that is so complicated, to the layperson it makes absolutely no sense. Play the hard songs in the A Black Rose Burial widget for an example of avant-garde metal.

Guh...I meant more like the steps. How some files don't go to the music and/or have awkward patterns but are still fun. Hence the reference to Kagami.

The Epidemic of Unexpected Relapses [Hard] is an awesome file that should be released to FFR. It's incredibly good compared to other files. Dore actually put some creative patterns in there, and I especially liked the use of almost triples rofl.

Didn't care too much for the music because I don't really hear/understand metal much, especially something as hardcore and avant-garde as this.
