Rebirth is turning into Shash... Not from skill but from not posting/judging.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Remember the good old days of Hyrogashi and Arch0wl when you only had, like, seven files to judge?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
early 2007. but, even then, judging was like... one file at a time. and i didn't take notes or anything. was all done in my head and on AIM between shash and i. then i started getting in like 20 files and was like, "crap... who sent this file? i don't remember if this was good or not... i have to replay it now" etc etc etc, which was what started the batch process.RIPComment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
With the few people could submit files to FFR part, do you mean like there were few people who were allowed to have auto-reception or something(excuse my failure, yet again)?
>_> Just wondering.Originally posted by DossarLX ODIWhat's the point of using drugs anyways? I heard they help you relax but that's pretty much it. (Not talking about medicines)Comment

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
LD pretty much took any file that was sent to him.... very few were sent to him, because we didn't publicize anything relating to adding files AND files were added MUCH less frequently.
Once I took over and started to publicize FFR files, things took off. I started doing the simfile work around Maple Leaf Rag, which was file number 175 (about 35-40 file numbers missing up to that point, so around song 135-140)... since then, we haven't missed a number... and including all files (skill, token, subscriber, widget only), we're at 672. that's basically 500 files added in 14 months. vs 140 files added in over 3 1/2 years previously.
and we've got 90+ in the queue, 160 that are being judged in this batch, and over 40 emails sitting in my inbox with files submitted.RIPComment
