FYI, those are basic diagnoses for my judge(some parts are subjective though).
for Tass/Rebirth, if there are problems point out them.
[Auto rejection]
(song)
- inappropreate song selection for FFR
- no permission
- multiple difficulty (there're a few exceptions)
- the judge can't play the file for some reason
- obviously stolen steps
(sync)
- BPM off
- large gap off
- offsyncness in many parts
- YNS, PNS, ONS, GNS, etc (when the judge think colors don't match the beats)
(rhythm)
- large repetition
- terrible misrhythm
- terrible overstep/understep for the song
- for V2, not enough diffence in difficulty, rhythm, and quality
(pattern)
- hands, quads
- freezes
- 0/1/2 framers
- 3 framers in songs that's easier than FMO (except the case manually fixable)
- overuse of jacks, onehanded trills, one handed runningmen, spins, crossovers, staircases
[large negative point (will be a reason for rejection unless other factors are good)]
(song)
- not so good song selection for FFR
- songs over 5'00 (ok if the song isn't repetitive/boring)
- songs under 0'30
- inappropreate song cut/termination
- inconsistency of difficulty in the same file
(sync)
- medium gap off
- tiny offsyncness at parts
(rhythm)
- medium repetition
- misrhythm/poor rhythm for the musics in general, poor layering, poor flow
- overstepped/understepped rhythms for the music in general (except for the patricular reason)
(pattern)
- 3 framers without good musical reason on FMO/FGO songs
- overuse of 4 framers, 4 framers on songs that's easier than Tricky
- overuse of non-index/non-pitch relevant streams (awkward patterns)
- long trills/runningmen without pattern change
- overuse/misplacement of doubles
(other)
- overall when the judge feels unfun/boring without particular reason
[small negative point (may be a reason of rejection combined with other problems)]
(song)
- songs under 0'45
- songs over 3'00 (ok if the song isn't repetitive/boring)
(sync)
- tiny gap off
(rhythm)
- tiny misrhythm
- poor variety in rhythms overall
(pattern)
- tiny awkwardness in stream
- tiny overdouble
- poor variety in patterns overall
1) Gap varies from computer to computer.
2) Gap problems take like three seconds to fix most of the time.
in general,
1) if the computer or keyboard has really slow response time, yes.
2) submitters need to test the sync of the file before they submit, basically you can't expect us to do that for all files. if the gap-off amount is small(like less than 10ms), it might not be a big problem for FFR.
1. in the regular batch, we only accept 1 version of steps for a song from 1 author as of now (it still has exceptions like Otaku though). If someone submits a file with 5 difficulties, should we check all of them?
2. yea maybe there are exceptions when the steps are onsync and looking nice. we just want to make it easier to read, so 4ths(beats) should be red notes basically.
if a song is in 3/4 time or whatever, then of course it's going to be all purple notes. we understand that.... like eternus, some of the raustblackdragon songs, some yamajet songs, etc...
but PGO being all green = no.
black and white being all white = no.
Song Length - who cares. If the file is good, accept it. I don't give a damn about the song length
One handed trills and running men - who cares. Definitely ok by me. If they go with the music I have absolutely no problem with them. If they go with the music and someone rejects, then I suggest they either get better at one handed trills and running men, or to stop judging files
Syncing (GAP) - If your simfile has a small gap problem that I see while testing, I will fix it for you so you do not have to resubmit. But who knows if tass will actually go through and do the incredibly easy process of changing the gap while HE tests

I have a problem with Yellow Note Syndrome.
How can I take my killer files that suffer from this on occasion and make them nice and proper without trashing the file and starting from scratch?
