No.

There are several factors they go by. Mine certainly haven't been released that way.

Bit confused about your comments on 600 AD Tass... you put it in your Tass only + list, but it was a +?

Does this mean that it was a tenative +, or that it was a +? in the sense that it needed minor tweaking (which it did).

If it got anything other than straight +s across the board, it probably needs tweaking and a resubmit. Heck even if it did get straight +s I'd wager it could use a few tweaks. Nobody makes the perfect file the first time, it's always better after some critiscism and thought.

I thought I had made it, but I don't see my simfile.

No.

There are several factors they go by. Mine certainly haven't been released that way.

I don't think that really matters. I know I've heard Tass say it before, tokens or not.

I didn't know that the length of a file would determine if it would be accepted or not. I mean, it's only one second shorter than Excite Bike, and also Tasselfoot, I asked you about it before I even sent it. Also, if you listen to the song, you should realize that it's not over stepped, the jumps are in proper spots, and anything less and the file wouldn't make sense. Talk to me about it on MSN please.

Sympathizer was my second song accepted into the queue, ever, and I think I had about 4 files released before it

Though I did send updates to the song twice, which were ignored for whatever reason. But generally it seems like they're put in the game based on when tass recieves them

dore: in the end, i have final say, regardless of jx's +ing. i take shash's and jx's judgments under consideration, and make a final call.

Then please always be the +ed file tester. It doesn't make sense any other way. Now I have to fix YNS that doesn't exist. sweet

believe me... i'd prefer to be the + tester all the time. i have a ton of other site related stuff to do. and, honestly, i am perfectly comfortable admitting that shash and jx are better overall judges of files than i am. kinda just fell this way in that shash did + testing because he got back from being away, and it made sense... and then shash felt that jx should get to do it.

perhaps now we'll go back to me doing + testing only. we'll see. i'll discuss it with jx and shash.


in regards to files being added.... songs that have been in the queue the longest do get priority, but it isn't the only factor.

Alucard: while song length won't automatically prohibit a song from getting in the game, we aren't going to add every 8 second long file sent to us. frankly, we don't really want another. we didn't really want excite bike, but it's a bit funny, and it's a novelty to have the one.

knoobish: to explain... i +d your file. as shown in my comments. shash did not + it, and he gave reasons why in his file. jx played it only because i +d it... but he didn't + it, and he gave his reasons why. please take the comments of shash and jx and use them to fix your file up.

OK, that's cool. It just really makes no sense to have your file +ed by the + file tester and not get in; I was confused

So how would you like me to remove yellow notes that are to the rhythm 1--a---a-e-a? (counting 1e&a for 16ths)?

if it's not actually YNS (see The Five or AoOM), then don't worry about it. quite possibly just a case of me being retarded.
