more to the point, its a lot of effort to go through.
to fix the noteskin isn't hard, assuming the ffr noteskin is available for ffr.
what about fixing the size of the notes themselves?
also the size of the window can be fixed to be correct without that much trouble.
c300 isn't difficult.
timing window seems to be the most difficult of the things that could be fixed.
but even beyond that is screencutting, the flow of the arrows on ffr. and of course, jack syndrome.

As if all the moaning when you DON'T is any better?

FFR noteskin is widely available.

Mini 30% mod. Or whatever percent is required to get the right effect. That would probably take only like 5 minutes max of trial and error to get right.

Windowed mode, then hit the minimize button.

Indeed.

Editing the timing window is the exact same procedure as editing the CMOD settings. Just open your .ini file and find the judge tolerances. If I recall correctly the "judge settings" of FFR have been posted on here before, just find them and enter them in and wala you did you
Also, turning marvelouses off is a standard option that always comes with the game. It's under Game Settings or something like that, would probably take only like 2 secongs to find...

Windowed mode, then drag the window below the start bar. Done.

Reduce the frame rate? I dunno that's really the only hard one to replicate.
timing on ffr is not perfectly linear like on SM, with .000000 being in the middle, and having so much room on either side. since it is timed based off of frames, and the frames, and then arrows within them change based on the bpm... it winds up that the timing window is mostly early, vs correctly on. which is why if you're even 1 frame past the window, you get a good. yet you have the exact window plus 2 frames early to get a perfect.
all in all, the majority of people are still happy with how everything is being done. as such, i dont see a need to change what's being done for the few people who enjoy complaining so much.
final total of +s from tass: 53/189. 28%. and i'm 100% sure less than that will make the queue.
AND... i'd say at least half of the files I +d were difficulty 7/12 or less. i'm actually kinda happy with how many easier files i saw. and i didn't even plus every one of them... although it is much harder to mess them up.
when i get back from Las Vegas. my guess on the update will be the 25th. jx is only about halfway done. and i'll be away from my desktop all next week.
May I ask, You said somthing ealier about "accepting songs from BanYa and just holding them" but with the way the BanYa thing looks now, did you +'s anything by artists that we yet to gain premission from?
