OK! Here is the long awaited queue update from March 28th - April 21st. Any song from April 22nd - June 4th will be in the NEXT queue update (all 200 or so songs). Before you ask "Why is my song not on the list?"... check what day you sent it. Chances are it was after April 21st. If you ask this question and your file indeed WAS sent after April 21st, I will give you a 24 hour ban.

So many posts in this thread are irrelevant it's not even funny.
Especially Pokelda asking if this thread is still gay.
And all these people going 'waah waah waah play my file accept it did you play it did you get it did you play it play play play NOW.'

Tass clearly states when he will/why he can't post a queue update, I'm sure you can wait. And I'm sure if you were in Tass's position you'd get pissed off when people started nagging on you too.

Really, Tass doesn't have to be doing this, and neither do Shash or JX. We could still have any and every simfile being sent making it in the game with a ton of jacks and running men and bad patterns and offbeat and everything.

Consider yourselves blessed.

Um... this may sound stupid, but...
What if we had a standby judge that could fill in for a judge who couldn't work on the queue update at hand?
I'm not bashing Tass, I'm just, well, thinking... it would help avoid this magnitude of a delay, and then maybe there would be a somewhat smaller amount of gaying up in this thread...

Actually, the 32nds follow the synth in the background. If you slow the music rate down you can hear it, but yes, I do agree, the patterns are very random. I apologize, I was trying to get this in before the queue.

My bad on the sync... I actually thought about the spins after I submitted it, and was like, "Oh crap, they aren't going to like those." I will try to tone down on the jumps.

this "delay" was caused by Shash being consumed by Guitar Hero. That was over a month of the delay. I caused a further 1 week delay because of my move... and even that wasn't really my fault, given the Time Warner people. I finally got my desktop hooked up last night, and I got all my **** played, tested, and the batch updated today.

damn.

and i'm taking the rest of the day off. tomorrow i'll start putting together this retardedly massive batch. seriously... i expect it to be around 200 songs. although if we can ever finish a batch in a week, all the future batches will be only 20-30 songs. which is more than doable in a day or two.


EDIT: and Sulfer... those bottom 2 of yours I didn't play. So i have no idea... but given that Shash and jx said basically the same thing for both of them, i'm confident they were judged correctly.

Okay, I don't understand a few things. The BPM wasn't constant, but I still made the arrows on sync. Also, I even e-mailed Tass the link to the thread posting it's acceptance and to the artist. It is a re-mix. I guess I'll have to just accept it.. Thanks anyways.

Which BPM would you rather have in Song For All Time? the fast or the slow? I did the doublings and halvings with the dominant beat at those times, so I honestly dunno which is more right. So your call

Also, I'm gathering that +?s from both Shash and JX mean that you don't play but it's basically needs minor tweaking, right?

im glad at least one of my files got in.... and i knew itd be ViennaCore if any....

in my original emails to tass, i had put that my steps were the oni steps, and at the time, i had DL'd SM 4 and editing songs was a pain as i couldnt delete the other files..... now i got 3.9, and ill resubmit/revise the songs and delete the other difficulties...

It seems I missed the comment of 1 file, it didn't really matter tho.
The only problem about the judgement for me is strictness for the judge(+, +? things). Any ideas about that?

If both +?'d mostly it doesn't have chance to get in the queue at this time, so Tass doesn't play. About the advice for minor tweaking, see the comment of both.
