is it too much work to start a new thread? this one is extremely cluttered and it's misleading with tasselfoot as the thread creator; I had to go twenty pages back to find out what was going on with the queue.
btw I intentionally leave this thread as it is, and this is still updated.
But if an active judge wants to make a new thread and keep it, he/she can go ahead.

You guys are spazzing way too much over this. I haven't played these yet except for Clockwork yesterday, but why does everyone complain about jacks? There's a reason they're there, the difficulty is accurate, so stop complaining. Thanks

Placements are final, custom will not be moved to D6, just because he is good at jacks, and mediocre at just about every other FMO in the game.
btw jacks on the song aren't problems at all (in terms of both technicality and playability), it just drags on a bit due to its structure and the song (slow js).
as for this song deleting/disabling/leaving is basically up to the song/step author.
Just played them all. I really enjoy all of the new files. The only one I really see a problem in is RAN. It's not the file itself, it's great. I just feel like it should be a FGO.

Alright, I just played Op.10 No.9 and RAN. (Not to mention It's Only Natural.)
Who the hell is responsible for giving these files good enough marks that they got into the game as-is? Do you guys remember that this game has combo scoring and that difficulty spike trills/jacks quite literally ruin a file?
said this before, I'll say it here (and I give credit to bmah for saying this earlier because it is the honest truth): if every file was perfectly flowing, had no rigidity, or no difficulty spikes, do you think this game would have the kind of playability that it has? Having only files that flow and have no sort of spikes/awkward patterns makes the rest of the game boring. There needs to be files that counter-balance these really nicely flowing files.
RAN is a damn hard file, and I expressed some dislike at first, but I actually have come to enjoy the file, despite the insane difficulty spike straight down the middle of the chart. It's nice to have a challenge once in a while, and the chart does its job as a 1.) proper and plausible interpretation of the music and 2.) a difficult and tough to score on file.
Op. 10 No.9 might be draggy to some people, but the file has great relevance to the song. FFR needs more classical music. The file does the song justice - sure, it difficulty spikes with the mega-jacks, but you know what, it does a great job portraying the shift in intensity within the music. I saw a few judges give this a [+] in their reviews, and I would have done the same. I enjoy this file a lot.
