                        I enjoy this formula. Either way, I can't wait to submit them for the upcoming batch to get some concrete feedback from experienced judges. yup, yup.

                        Bringing the future batch subject, though, I noticed the one before this one was during August 2009. Did I skip a few batches or does it really take more than a full year for batches to open up again? I wish I knew where to look to get that kind of info..

                            Well, FFR didn't exist from Dec. 2009 - Oct 2010. This site just recently reopened a few months ago.

                                All I am trying to get is an approximation of how much time there is between the batches when the site is opened. I just don't know how to put it in words without a few tries, it seems!

                                    Considering when the last batch was completed, one batch takes about 1-2 months to complete. We used to get a few weeks after the completion of one batch to send in files for the next, but right now we're still redeveloping the system.

                                            Alright, so that sounds like around February/March the batch will open again, am I right? Either way, thanks for the heads up. It's a lot more reassuring than the false extrapolation I was going for a minute ago.

                                            Now that I think of it, I kind of agree, even though the load of judging during a year might have nothing to do with the number of batches sent to you guys since they all might be very different from each other.

                                                        I'm sorry I like to take my time and go through the files section by section so I'm confident in my rating the 1st time around unlike a few here that questioned whether they were too lenient/strict after sending their notes in.

                                                        Plus the deadline isn't here yet.
