I've been busy for the past few days and had a lack of motivation to open SM but I'll try to get my portion of the judging done tonight or tomorrow night.
I just submitted a 600-step chart for Field of Snow because the one in the batch is just dumpstreaammmmm
I don't remember how the lower difficulties in ffr work but it's like a 4 or 5
edit: aha, the song in game is field of snow, the song I stepped is field of snow v2. on the other hand, field of snow is a token, so why would field of snow v2 not be a token......
I have your version from Rebound's pack - I can easily remove the freezes and re-step it based off of someone who played it on youtube. Not a big deal and I would definitely love to see TBMS in game because it's (imo) REALLY fun.
Yeah, if it's not a burden then please do that for me, please and thanks.
Alright. I'll do it for you tonight after I get out of work. Shouldn't be too big of an issue. I remember you changing a few bursts so I'll be editing those back to how they are in the DF version.
Btw, I'm interested in stepping more songs in the 1-7 range. The problem being, of course, that ffr's precedent is 'one chart per song probably', so it needs to be songs where easier files feel just right for it anyway.
Think songs that are primarily 8th-y or slow swing.
Think songs that would be very boring if stepped with their 16ths intact (say their only source is some background or quiet percussive instrument), but cool if they were left out.
ideas:
Kommisar - Nebulous Dream
cornandbeans - {Lazy Summer Days} (since Xandertrax's won't be accepted - maybe other Xandertrax rejected files would work too, like Bump)
Rushjet1 - The Battle With the Betrayed (maybe)
Rushjet1 - Dementia
Rushjet1 - Marble Zone (sounds like **** though)
Rushjet1 - Still Afraid of Darkness 8k RMX
still a ****load of rushjet1 to go through lmao.
I would especially like to make another 1-2, but how many songs are appropriate for that?
ps do we have any dubstep permissions? most dubstep would be quite easy
Try to go for Roksonix, just getting "big" now. (although I do actually recall them getting signed to Circus a few weeks ago >_>) Most others are signed to Circus Records, which ironically I requested permission for a few days ago... no takers yet
