But if it released at BMS before SOUND VOLTEX and we got permission before it released on SOUND VOLTEX II technically as you say we have permission.

The actual name he used for sdvx was "EOS -INFINITE EDIT- "
We used (you cut) was "ginkiha - EOS -Long Version-"

should I mention about our permission of BOF back to him?

well I dunno anything about SOUND VOLTEX but it was part of BOF12, so it was released 2012 if that helps

I didn't use a cut of -Long Version- actually, i just used a different short version, which is still part of bof2012

Although it's not accurate I'm only finding on wiki's that sdvxii released 2013.
It should be cool,
I'll just let him know we used the original EOS because it was an open source off the BOF site.

I was a dumbass and posted this in the wrong thread. Bumblefoot has agreed to allow use of his independent music in the game, and the stuff I asked permission for specifically was the 9.11 album, Guitars Still Suck, Turn Around, Dash, and Real. I would really like to make a chart for Turn Around next batch. Also, got positive responses from Look Left (newest album only, working on a chart for Two Headed Man currently) and Weebl's Stuff.

Bumblefoot: Potentially limited, but it seems like he's okay with the songs he has permission of to be used. Will update when I get another response from him! His first email was speedy, so it shouldn't take long anyways!

Look Left: Limited - "Waiting" album. However, if it is well received Jared said that he'd allow the full catalog to be used. I'm pretty excited about this, because this is a really awesome band that deserves more attention. I've purchased the album myself (it was only $8) and will work on getting a song charted for the next batch after this one, since I'm already at my limit this batch.

Weebl's Stuff: All he said was "Sure," so that's cool!

I'm giving permission to use any of my songs.

I mainly make songs with 909 and chip sounds or superwaves (I can't really place what genre it is).

I would step them myself and send it to batch, but I'm far to lazy. :3
