So I'm just wondering where Your Lies is in the Queue. I sent the Resub on the 27th, after seeing Psycho mention they'd like to see it fixed up. Since it was a tournament batch submission I sent the fixed version to the specialsubs email. Was this wrong? Or has it not been looked at yet?

Or does the 6 by Halogen mean it's just rejected outright?

A rating of 6 is Rejected, although since that covers the minimum requirement for a rating appeal you can send an appeal that covers the review in detail to the special submissions email and have another veteran judge look at it.

But there isn't a point in appealing if I learned that he was right based on the changes I made, especially if the original answer was a rejection.

The only reason I would resubmit is because psycho thought I should, so I did. If I have to make an appeal then it's literally because "psycho said I should"

Resubmission isn't a judgment status that is used anymore. To encourage use of Conditional Queue for changes, there's instead a Rating Appeal process for files that are either Conditionally Queue'd or Rejected with at least a 6 rating.

The Rating Appeal allows you to make the changes mentioned in the review without having to submit the file over and over again. The file doesn't need a second set of notes from being submitted again if you're able to make the changes mentioned -- when the changes are looked over (and should be mentioned in the email), the file can be accepted at the discretion of the original judges that looked at it.

So I have to send it to [email protected] because it's a resubmission for a special batch file?

I have already sent it once, albeit to the wrong email. I need to send it again (to the right one) with a set of notes regarding changes I made for it to get looked at again?

EDIT after getting ninja'd by psycho: I'm just worried that it wouldn't get looked at at all because I missed one little thing

I've had it, I check both emails because most people are confused as to which to send it to. We're trying to get all the primary judgements out before the resubs. Some things came up last month that slowed everything down again. I'm just finally breaking free from my obligations but AJ still has his OSU tournament. So unless another judge wants to hop in to help me idk how long it will take to finish up.

for what it's worth, it's good that you apologized about this whole situation; certainly short-sighted on your end, but mistakes happen and it's good to move past it

as far as the thing that i've quoted, there are a few sets of files that require supplemental notes that i've been tasked with, but i've been finding it harder and harder to get motivated to do things

additionally, some of the negativity i've seen has made it a bit tougher to even care. feel free to drop the responsibility there - i've been poked and prodded to do work, and i've not done it; accountability has to go somewhere, so i think it's alright to drop it to me at least with regards to the OT stuff

those of you who have been on osu! know that i've been running a tournament that has been absolutely sucking the free time out of me, but this weekend is the quarter finals and after this point, the amount of matches cuts down substantially (as in: less matches in the next three weekends combined compared to this one) - so i should be able to at least get any files that still need to be looked at done

if things are still slow on the hard songs batch/other batches, i can help with those but i'm not making any sort of commitments to anything at all until May
