I think most of us were aware on some level that the game engine isn't so sophisticated as to detect which sorts of notes you hit, and relies purely on what shows up in the results screen to determine ST gets. True, you may be meant to do it a certain way (which is how the requirements were dreamed up) but as long as you get the numbers the game is looking for, nothing else matters.
As for me, messed up my up-arrow finger today while trying to remove a mouse (old house cat is old). Don't expect much from me, though I did get PianoCore the other day by setting autofail to 1 perfect and playing through almost every public song I didn't see me having an FC on. Fun file. You guys should do it so you don't have to sit through those long-ass indie rock widget files.
