Rain is a low FGO to me too...it might not be in objective discussion but in feel, it's really easy to me

I could easily AAA it, I got 3g on my first run and two of them were lag related - high FGOs I should be in the high SDG/low teens area, lol

If you're getting low teens goods on a file then it's definitely reaching low FSO area no doubt. Breakbeat Acid is probably a good example of this, since you said your non FC had teens and my best FC also had teens but is messy, that file's like mid FSO but you'd probably say it's very low FSO

Haha I'm quite consistent with the streams on Rain for some reason, probably the extremely generous patterns that Kommi threw in. I tend to pick up everything in the trills, which normally would be strange considering jacks/trills are one of my strengths on here, but I'm pretty sure I tore a muscle near my upper right tricep a few days ago, so whenever I tense up for trills or jacks I get an incredible throbbing pain and I usually have to quit the file.

Tried Slashmaid today and couldn't get anywhere because of it haha.

D6 are supposed to AAA this song, and everyone in D5 now is D6 so whatever

I think Breakbeat Acid is a mid-FSO too. Even though the file is cheatable through a good majority of the ending, it's near impossible to read properly. I'm only so good at the file because I made it, and can coordinate all of the patterns properly.

Same thing with my Unconnected. file, which has lots of really difficult 32nd+ or faster bursts, I broke SDG point with a few misses, but I think it's a low FSO. Again, making the file gives me the advantage because I know how to cheat all of the tough transitions into hard patterns.

As much as I don't want to sound snide or anything like that, I have to agree with this. Hakulyte was placed in D6 and his scores are pretty far from Stage's.

Also Halogen I'm legit surprised that you actually think the same way I did for both Unconnected and Breakbeat Acid - both being FSO's. That's pretty cool

Stage improved throughout the tournament, though. His level ranks didn't reflect a D6 player at the start. He definitely has the making of a Guru-tier player now, though.

Seriously though, it's Round 6 of the tournament. Any changes won't happen at this point. Yeah it might be "BS" for him to continue playing in D5, but that's like saying Dossar is "BS" for playing in D6. Let's just finish the tournament and have fun please? We're down to the top 8 players for each division and they are going to win some prizes, so it wouldn't matter at this point.

Just because you're placed in D6 doesn't automatically increase your ability to reduce goods or do patterns better, I just find it pretty offensive to the people who are currently in D6.

Not a big deal though, we can see how the tournament turns out

Well, level ranks are level ranks. There may have been an improvement, but I just call lack of effort before the tourney. Seriously, no D5 player gets the scores he has, even though some D5 players reach the borderline D6 scores, that kind of improvement does not exist IMO, it would've happened wayyyy too fast, even for a sillboost. However I have no problem with that haha, just gonna make him my rival xd

@Middie, the chart isn't a joke. It's just a ridiculously difficult file to combo but had the right mechanics of being a technical stepfile.
