This is why isolation is fuckin useless when it comes to actually scoring on the file. Oh sure I can AAA the section but that never happens ingame on the same run

To prove my point:

3 clean running to the very end, then rushing a gap.

Had a solid mid clean SDG going and then a split of 5 goods at once destroyed the score

And then that replay where I had 3-0-0-1 but one of the 24th trills turned it into 8-3-0-1. Wasn't that nice :monkey:

Gigantic scoredump. I spent a few hours today trying to learn how to PA, I figured if I'm in D4 I might as well act like it :/
Inside: FMO SDGs, my second VC AAA, lots of derpy scores.
I was going to make a separate thread, but none of these are particularly threadworthy so I'm just throwing 'em in here.

Almost my second VC AAA but my finger slipped at one point you can clearly see in the replay. At least I AAA'd the jack-trill-roll part for the first time.
Forgot to take a screenshot but at least I saved the replay.

This file rules. I gave the song to behanjc because I was having trouble syncing it (lol I was so noob) and he did an amazing job with it. Good score for me, did well on the polyrhythms.




Second VC AAA, after Tambourin Chinois. Feels good man.

At this point I decided VCs are boring and starting playing FMOs.

Random messy bad score. Average and most of the other crap on the down minijacks right before the long right jack... then a few more goods on that too of course.




This wasn't a keyboard error or anything, I just... didn't hit that arrow. I was so annoyed with myself I forgot to save the replay too, double derp.




Hmmm... this looks familiar. Did I just do this a few minutes ago on a certain long Final Fantasy remix file? Yes, yes I did.
Amazing PA for me though, also didn't save the replay...




This file is awful awful awful and it physically pains me to play it. Gah, why did they accept this version and not mine, you didn't step the 16ths at the end that's not cool bro
Decent score though.




Clean score followed shortly after by a score with better PA but a terrible choke on the ending. Oh well.





This file is fun. The jacks don't bother me much.




This is quite a hard FMO! Did decently well, certainly this is a lot cleaner than my half-mashed sightread FC I had before.




And this FMO is even harder. The patterns are pretty simple, but NPS is intense; there's just a lot of stuff to hit. Okay PA for me, sadly I derped. Again.




Probably the best score here. I totally forgot this file even existed before it came up on random play, and I did really well basically sightreading it. Seems easy for an FMO, or maybe I just got lucky, either way this is now my best FMO score by far.

I remember when Shash was making this he said to me "Hey look I'm going to put 1-handed trills in at the end and everyone's going to hate me."
Well, not quite. Did fine on the trills actually, but it's the 1324 and 4231 patterns that I can't do. Got nearly all my goods on those




I was on AIM with Kayla and complaining because I was bad at BB Evolution, as you can see:


Then of course next play I get this. Oh well, now I'm not bad at BB Evolution I guess lol. Possibly the second best score in here, no?

Man, I still nominate this as the best file in the game. Just absolutely incredibly fun to play. After a bit I found it was a little easier on mirror.
Improved from a 13-0-0-0 to this over a few tries.

A pretty easy FMO. Got nearly all of the goods in the trills, of course. Kinda a funny/sad replay. I do like this file though, one of my better ones still

At this point I decided to whore EHHS a little bit. Got a nice little score progression here:



And finally improved to this before I stopped playing the file.

I don't even know if this is good or not. Felt decent. The replay is kind of dumb- I got ALL the goods in the first quarter of the song then AAA'd it from there on out...
The file kinda reminds me of Puzzle, maybe I'm good at this kind of file?

This is not harder than Lolo. I can read this MUCH easier... I also think it should FGO anyway. My 2c, seems like a debate that will never stop so whatever.
