How is mashing fun? Playing dumps and mashing just to get a good lol from the stepchart is one thing, but mashing for fun isn't something I would do in my free time. Slamming your keyboard to no particular rhythm just to combo a song completely defeats the purpose of the game and definitely doesn't need a thread to encourage it.

Its more meta strategy. You know "Hey I cant do well enough, so im gonna take advantage of the game's mechanics"

Hakulyte, for me that'd be a PA score on Revo. You should just quad mash during the one part where its all the jumps. Im sure you can PA the rest of the song, so doing that would probably net you like 80 goods, 40 averages.

Its an additional aspect of the game people dont appreciate.

I strongly discourage mashing if you're trying to get a better score, but if you're ****** mashing just for the sake of laughs and *trying* to get a bad score, by all means go ahead haha
